TRIGGERS

The Triggers performance, in the form of lecture art, is dedicated to the issue of the environment, which has slowly but surely become a decoration for humanity – a passive stage for the realization of our own ambitions. The exponential growth of environmental problems proves how easily we forget the power of factual facts. The Triggers work illustrates this fact with one of the largest environmental burdens in Slovakia. The Istrochem case - dangerous toxic landfills on its territory and a high risk of destruction of the waters of Žitný ostrov, one of the largest aquifers in Europe - is directly connected to the Czech political scene. Istrochem is owned by the company Agrofert, and until recently, Agrofert was owned by the current Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babiš.
